John Twist invites you and your MG to the University Motors Summer Party Reunion on August 16-17, 2024!

We had a great turnout in 2023 and we're looking forward to seeing even more MG friends in 2024.

Summer Party Reunion Schedule

Friday, August 16

2:00—8:00 pm  Hotel Check in & Event Registration at DoubleTree Hilton Hotel

4:00—6:00 pm  Free car wash station with water & towels in parking lot

6:00—10:00 pm University Motors MG Parking Lot Party 

• Free admission and car show behind the DoubleTree Hotel.
• Grilled hot dogs courtesy of Old Speckled Hen & former UM employees
• Bring your own soft drinks or alcohol. Michigan has 10¢ deposit on bottles & cans.
• Bring your own lawn chairs

       

Saturday, August 17

7:00—9:00 am  Breakfast on your own at hotel (Ganders Restaurant) or nearby restaurant

9:30—10:00 am  Caravan from DoubleTree Hotel to Douglas Walker Park, 1195 84th St SW, Byron Center

       

 

10:00 am—3:00 pm  University Motors Reunion at Douglas Walker Park 

Registration for the car show is now closed.

Reunion tickets are $15 per person at the door. Admission includes bottled water and park amenities.

      

12:00—1:30 pm  Boxed Lunch by Apple Spice Catering 

Pre-purchased lunches include sandwich or salad, pickle, fruit, cookie, chips & pop.

3:00—6:00  Free time, nap time, or shopping at Tanger Outlet Mall

6:00—10:00 pm  University Motors Banquet in Wolverine Room 

Pre-purchased banquet tickets include Italian Buffet, dessert, coffee, iced tea. Cash bar.

     

Sunday, August 18

7:00—11:00 am  Breakfast on your own at hotel (Ganders Restaurant) or nearby restaurant

9:00 am—12:00 pm  Goodbyes in DoubleTree parking lot

12:00 pm  DoubleTree Hotel check out deadline
